WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

Since the Appeal started in Oct 2010, 75% of Royal Marines have been deployed - more than ever before. To be blunt this means more wounded and more loss and when our Royal Marine Commandos and their families need help, we want to ensure they get it. This year there is a special focus on 40 Commando, serving on operations in Helmand from September until April 2013.

The Yomp is a legendary 30-mile trek across the stunning Scottish Highlands. It’s the walk that makes a Royal Marines Commando. It’s not for everyone.
Commando Spirit is raising £1m for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. Our target is in sight but we need your strength and determination to get there.
Could you train with the best, share a unique experience and show your courage for those who risk their all? Could you Survive The Yomp?

At the heart of the Appeal are The Commando Spirit Series of challenge events; once-in-a-lifetime experiences to test your mettle and give you a taste of what it means to be a Royal Marines Commando whilst raising serious funds for Royal Marines in need.
